Stroll to the Coastal Path straight from the door, or take the Cardi Bach Bus from the village to one of the nearby beaches then walk the Coastal Path back! Well behaved dogs are welcome on the Cardi Bach too :)

Explore the Cwmtydu to Cwm Soden Butterfly walk. This National Trust circular route takes you along cliffs from our local bay of Cwmtydu to Cwm Soden, one of the few sites for the pearl-bordered fritillary butterfly in Wales. Walk to this from the door for a beautiful evening outing, watching the sun go down into the sea...

WILD SWIMMING
Try out Wild Swimming at one of our local beaches - join in the fun with The Ceredigion Bluetits & Bluebells Chill Swimmers - our local branch of The Bluetits Chill Swimmers.
We swim throughout the year, mainly without wetsuits, but all are welcome whatever their approach to an enjoyable swim! Let us know if you want to join us one morning or evening - the group is largely composed of women, but men join us too and are equally welcome.

There are a number of towns in Ceredigion which are hubs for cycle routes. The 'Green Seas and Honey Bees' circular route goes through Caerwedros and is an ideal way of exploring our locality. Taking you from New Quay to Llangrannog via Cwmtydu and the New Quay Honey Farm there are many places to stop for tea and cake or a spot of pub grub!

Bring your wetsuit and board to catch some surf at Llangrannog, Tresaith, or Penbryn. Alternatively, contact Cardigan Bay Watersports for details of hiring equipment and training sessions.

There are a number of boat trips that can be taken for viewing our local wildlife, such as seals and dolphins: some are listed below.
