Bring your wetsuit and board to catch some surf at Llangrannog, Tresaith, or Penbryn.  Alternatively, contact Cardigan Bay Watersports for details of hiring equipment and training sessions.

CYCLING

There are a number of towns in Ceredigion which are hubs for cycle routes.  The 'Green Seas and Honey Bees'  circular route goes through Caerwedros and is an ideal way of exploring our locality.  Taking you from New Quay to Llangrannog via Cwmtydu and the New Quay Honey Farm there are many places to stop for tea and cake or a spot of pub grub!

BOAT TRIPS

There are a number of boat trips that can be taken for viewing our local wildlife, such as seals and dolphins: some are listed below.

POTTERY PAINTING

Visit our local craft and gift shop, Pot-Sian , just 5 minutes walk away.  There is a lovely selection of giftware and painted furniture for sale, as well as a Pottery Painting Studio where you can create your own masterpieces, have them fired, then collect before you leave or have them posted to you.   Great fun for a rainy day!

CINEMA/THEATRE

We are so lucky to have the amazing Theatr Mwldan nearby; Independent Cinema at its best!  A vibrant arts and cinema complex situated in the centre of Cardigan,  with three fully digital screens it is Wales' only truly Independent multiplex, welcoming over 300,000 people a year through their doors.   Not just cinema, they host live music, comedy, theatre and live broadcasts of major productions from around the globe.  And cheap popcorn and sweeties to boot!

FOR FOODIES...
FOR GARDENERS AND BEEKEEPERS...

We are ideally placed for attendees at Green Rocket gardening courses, run by journalist Kim Stoddart, or those taking place at Troed-Y-Rhiw Organic farm and New Quay Honey Farm.

And don't forget your National Trust membership card to visit Llanerchaeron, Cilgerran Castle, Dolaucothau Gold Mines or Dinefwr and park for free at Penbryn & Mwnt, or many of the other NT properties and beaches nearby.
