Yarn Bombing the Beach!
I did actually remember my camera when visiting Tresaith beach last week - I'm so glad I did as I noticed the remains of a Yarn Bombing on the Lifeguards' hut. Being an avid crafty person myself, I was keen to ask the Lifeguards who had done it so I could use their patterns! But unfortunately, the Yarn Bomber remains a mystery. A load of knitted items were attached to the hut overnight but no one knows who did it.
The panel featured an octopus and a red crab (both with wonderfully boggly eyes) - which ties in nicely to the previous post :)
Still, it inspired me to get my needles out and I'm starting to make some dolphins, seals and fish to start my own sea-themed decoration for The Cwtch, and also as mascots for the rowing club!
