Oh boy did we have fun at Llangrannog on Wednesday!
The most incredibly powerful rip tide was rushing from Cilborth and Bica sideways towards the opposite side of the bay, with regular large waves lashing the beach.
The RNLI lifeguards were busy keeping everyone safe, but Cilborth had to have the red flag raised to allow all of their attention to be concentrated onto the main beach and the many water babies (including us of course...) who were trying to bodyboard in the surf.
It was almost impossible to do anything except to wade into the rip, collapse in the surf and be dragged sideways. What with the high winds, and beautiful sunshine, we all came home with ruddy cheeks and very achy legs!
